HOW WILL I USE SHOOT 1 (COAL MINE RESEARCH) INTO MY FINAL OUTCOME?

BEDWORTH COAL MINE

When looking at the abandonment of places and objects after researching into the effect of photographing primary evidence of making somewhere seem modern, I had intentions at the time to create experimental pieces relating to the graffiti, however, at the time I didn't like the use of greenery and overall we did not have the equipment needed to get good shots of the location to explore what was left behind as a decay. The reason why I did shoot this location specifically is because it was a response to the artist research of an art called Sylvain Margainne who is an urban explorer who photographs abandoned places to re capture the beauty of what's left. Also, at the time I had ideas of maybe working onto the image but after I seen the images I decided that I could use them in my other research such as surrealist collages. Recently I have used some of the objects photographed in the shoot as part of the collage cut-outs. I am writing about this now because I feel like now that I am planning my final outcome, I could incorporate some of the visual graffiti aspects of the photos into the 1st composition in the series of 3.
